Southern Maryland Apartment Community seeks an organized, self-starter to fill to run our Leasing Office. You'll be responsible for collecting rent, working with tenants, supervising maintenance personnel and contractors, basically the person in charge and keeps the property running efficiently.
Generate and maintain Leases
Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in and final inspection walk-throughs
Enforcement of community rules
Coordinate Apartment Turnovers and Resident move-ins and move-outs
Provide excellent service to all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
Rent lections and Court Filings - Create flyers and post ads to increase and maintain occupancy
Greet, show/tour apartments to prospective residents
Coordinate the application process for each lease including credit and income verification
Preparation and sending of notices and community communications
Maintain prospect, traffic and leasing data
Maintain and keep current contact information for residents
Administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by Management
Coordination and supervision of maintenance personnel and service requests
Overseeing repairs and other projects
Scheduling of remodeling/renovation projects
Researching of potential contractors and vendors
Assist with Proposal and Contract development
Improve office efficiency
Proficient in MS Office and Property Management software a plus!
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when needed
The position is full-time, that will include a mix of weekday and weekend days, plus 24/7 on-call for building emergencies which occasionally requires after-hours on-site trips to the facility so it is preferred that applicants live within 20 minutes to NAS Patuxent River.
